The fast forward mode allows you to anticipate your position in the future, based on your 10 seconds averaged speed and heading.
- In order to enable the Fast Forward mode, select the associated entry in the menu and toggle the Fast Forward mode by clicking on the “OK” (Center of the directional keypad)
- In order to disable the Fast Forward mode, while in the menu, press the “OK” key again
- Note: the Fast Forward mode causes more pixels to be refreshed every second, inducing a slightly higher power consumption. The increase is only a few percents but if you are trying to save energy, you may want to enable that mode only when necessary
