MAPTATTOO offers Tide and Current predictions for the USA and Canada.
- (1) The Tide and Current station will appear on the Chart when you enable them through the “tide” setting.
- (2) Current is shown with a dark grey arrow. The arrow is full when the current is at maximum speed. It is hollow when at minimum speed
- (3) Tide is shown with a vertical rectangle, more or less full. An arrow indicates the tide state (rising arrow up)
- (4) Tap the “current” arrow and you will see the current speed and predictions for the next few days (bearing and speed, in knots)
- (5) Tap the “tide” station icon and you will see the tide status and predictions for the next few days
- Times are in local time (time zone is indicated) and use the 24-hour time notation (12:23 represents 12:23PM, 00:55 represents 12:55AM).
- Note: The tide & current widgets only appear after a GPS fix has been acquired.
